T a r t, SPICY, amazing. Y'ALLLL! These were so damn delicious.

So delicious that you need to run to the store now, get the ingredients and have a Saturday Funday at home like we did last night.

I infused the tequila yesterday afternoon for about 3 hours and it was SPICY. Which is right up my alley. But if its not up yours, you can use as many or as few jalapeños as you like and infuse it for as long as you like. Less jalapeños + less time= less spicy.

Let's get started.


1 Bottle of Tequila

3 Jalapeños

2 oz Jalapeño Tequila

2 oz Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice

2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

Agave or 1 oz Homemade Simple Syrup (See Below)

Jalapeño Slices for Garnish

Espolon Tequila

First. Infuse the Tequila

Slice 3 jalapeños (remove seeds for less spice) and place into a glass container. Pour entire bottle of Tequila into the container and let it sit on the counter to infuse for as little as 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Second. Squeeze Those Juices

Fresh squeeze the grapefruit + lime juices. I used organic grapefruits and I swear they made this marg. You'll need two ounces of each juice, per marg so squeeze squeeze squeeze.

Third. Tajin That Rim

Run lime around the rim of your glass and dip in Tajin. DO NOT MISS THIS STEP, if you do you're missing out.

Fourth. Make This Margarita

In a shaker add the following + then shake shake shake:

2 oz Infused Tequila

2 oz Grapefruit Juice

2 oz Lime Juice

1 oz Simple Syrup 

To make the simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until dissolved. Let Cool. Easy peassssy.

Fifth. Sip, Sip, ENJOY.
