Monday Monday, HAPPY Monday. Monday Muses.

SO I bought a new car today. That's pretty damn exciting for a Monday! Why does getting a car take so long though? Tell me the price and I'll say yes or no. None of negotiating BS. 

I did find out today that I'm a pretty good negotiator though. So, thats a perk. My dad came by today to see my car when I was signing contracts + told me he was proud. PROUD!? Pretty sure he was proud he created a mini him. My dad use to be a car salesman and mom was the finance manager... thats where they met. (k, cute!) and the car salesman was proud!? Yup, success.

Anyways. Happy girl. New car. Wine in hand. Cooked dinner at 3 so Austin could take it to work with him, so thats out of the way, and im browsing my favorite sites for y'all.

I must say, the nineties are back and they can stay. My door is wide open for em. Unlocked + everything. These cargo pants. Wide leg crops. Crochet. Sunnies.

Seriously the 90's are throwing up on this weeks Monday Muses and this nineties baby is loving every second of it.

Holy shit. So happy to be in bed right now. Isn't it funny though, I dread busy days like today but as I sit here in bed I absolutely love feeling so accomplished today. 

It's hard to not feel this way though when you start your day enjoying this absolutely beautiful place I call home and hiked 4 miles with my dog and girlfriend. I swear vitamin D just makes you feel GOOD for the entire day. I always forget how much I enjoy mornings like today until I get my booty back out there.

This weeks newness has so much goodness. I have two trips planed in May already where warm weather + all this summer GOOD is calling my name. You might be able to tell with this weeks Monday Muses, SO warm weather inspired and if my instagram is telling me correctly, its finally warming up everywhere. 

That makes me happy.

It hard posting sundresses in 85º weather and seeing that it's snowing in NY, so finally. Obsessing over so much of this, my cart is going to break the bank but hey, worth it 😉

Monday Muses already!?

Decided the carry the weekend into the week today. Went to work in my workout clothes today + am about to get ready to head to dinner in Santa Monica to meet my college roommate who's in town from Vancouver. So excited to catch up with her! Monday Muses first though.

I felt so much inspiration after seeing all the posts form my favorite influencers at Coachella. I WISH it was acceptable to dress that extra every day because they looked ah-mazing. Please someone remind me next year that is a bad idea NOT to go. I hated myself all-weekend-long.

Between the fringe galore, perfect one pieces, crazy hair styles. I wanted to throw out my entire closet and buy a new festival inspired wardrobe. I'm not alone, right?

Okay I understand thats not realistic but it made me want to shop. So here's this weeks top 10 favorites... if I can round it down to 10, for once.

WHAT A WEEK!

Y'all, the past week has been insane, exciting, tiring + more. My handmade ass man graduated from the Ventura County Sheriffs Acadamy after the most grueling 6 months! We celebrated way too much this weekend and my body was feeling it. To top is off I headed to downtown LA today to do some buying with Succulent. if y'all didn't know I manage it,  assist with the buying and am currently in the process of building the website with the my really good friend, who happens to own it!

Needless to say, I have a much needed glass of wine in hand and just purchased a lot of NEW NEW to celebrate the crazy week 😉

YESSSS. I've been looking forward to this week for so long. I LOVE THE TIME CHANGE! Getting dark at 7:30 IS MY JAM. So yes I may have been extraaaaaa tired this morning, but its all worth it. I love the sun.

Anywho. I don't know how its possible but each weeks new arrivals keep getting better. Obviously because were getting closer n closer to spring and its my favorite season for new clothes.

Swimmies, sunnies, sets.. I want it all. So here's another round up, of more than 10 of my favorite things because once again, per usual, I couldn't get myself to narrow it down anymore.

MARCH 5 2018

The first March Muses, jesussssss, HOW!? Honestly though, my favorite thing about March is the clocks change back! HELLO MORE SUNLIGHT.

So tired of the whole dark at 5 BS. 8:30 moon is more my jam.

Seriously though. Spring is coming, quick + I am so damn excited. It's still a bit chilly in Cali but there is nothing better than warm sunshine on my skin. I ALWAYS run cold, 72? COLD. I wish I could move to Hawaii, Florida, Mexico- my options are open- but Austin refuses because that boy runs hot. Our future is screwed 😉 

This weeks muses were SO HARD! I had to narrow it down from nearly 30 MUST HAVES. So, here you go- (apologies for the modge-podge, my inner perfectionist is dying that I couldn't categorize these better) they're good. Enjoy.

WOOOOO another fresh week is here and ready to be conquered! If y'all didn't notice, last weeks Monday Muses was skipped due to the fact I was real busy celebrating turning 27 + it was fantastic. I shared my birthday wishlist last week which is pretty much a Monday Muses, right!?

Cool, I'm glad were on the same page.

This week is pretty much ALL about accessories! I am in love with so many accessories this spring. As far as jewelry goes though, I swear last year was ALL about chokers and dainty necklaces, this is the year of the earring.

FEBRUARY 12 2018

Another weekend came + went too fast. But y'alllll... this weekend is my birthday weekend and this week is only a 4 day week. YES. Monday's are also a fresh start and I'm the crazy who rather enjoys them. Granted I'm sitting at a new coffee shop, and don't plan on moving any time soon. I'm chai latte obsessed + I'm pretty sure all I've consumed today is caffeine. But I'm getting WORK DONE!

Ahhh the best feeling! I work so much better when I have a lot to do and basically lose my mind when I don't. Anyone else?

I also walked into the coffee shop a few hours ago, with my all new makeup routine freshly painted on and GOT A COMPLIMENT ON IT! Thats like a sign to a good day, right? I must share this new routine with y'all soon... it's DEWY HEAVEN! Everything I use though, is here as always.

Anywhoooo I'll stop rambling. I just ordered SO MUCH NEW GOODIES, since its my birthday weekend + alllll. So I must share.

Here I am... 9 PM cuddled on my couch reading my final few chapters of "All The Missing Girls" & boom, I realize I never posted today's Monday Muses. Talk about a FAIL.

I think I need to start stapling my to-do list to my forehead because sometimes I just can't get my shit together. ANYONE ELSE?

I should be on top of today's muses because it's the first of my favorite month! Helllloooo Birthday month, I see you! T minus 2 weeks from tomorrow and I'll be 27. That sounds gross.

Austin told me yesterday while laying in bed... "You know what 27 means? Only 3 years til you're 30." Thanks for the reminder, babe 😒

Woke up on the right side of the bed this morning (V SURPRISING) + decided to take on Monday!

I was in and out of the gym before 8:30 and I always know that's a sign to a bright week! Hey theres babes, Mondays don't have to be bad, it all depends on your mind set. This year I set out to have a better mindset on life, you can be happy if you choose happy.

My kind of Monday happy is online shopping n browsing every websites "New Arrivals" ... anyone else!?

JANUARY 22 2018

Just sitting here happy as a clam because I just realized all my shows started last Thursday (TGIT fans!?🙋🏼‍♀️) & I'm about to binge watch them all with a nice glass of red wine in my hand while dinner cooks in the oven. I swear I am an 87 year old in an (almost) 27 year olds body.

All I know though, is come mid January & all the resort wear comes out, I am immediately over winter & ready for warm weather, beaches & endless spicy margaritas.

That's the second time I've talked about alcohol in about 4 sentences... clearly we all know whats on my mind Monday nights.

OHHHHH HOW I LOVE ME SOME MONDAY HOLIDAYS!

I took full advantage of the long weekend and spent some much needed quality time with Austin, mainly eating our entire way through (typical 😑) But now I am freshly showered, bundled on the couch watching a Hallmark movie (sorry babe) and scouring the internet for Monday Muses goodies.

Can we talk about how excited I am for Spring? I feel like I am going to be ALL ABOUT this upcoming season. The 70's are making their way back and I am v e r y into it.

Went to bed last night READY FOR MONDAY! The flu got the best of me last week and I followed that up with the LAZIEST weekend. Sometimes I just need to listen to my body because I feel energized today! I even woke up and killed my workout, (letttts be honest, I have NOT done that in a while!), ran errands AND grocery shopped all before 10 am. I don't know who this person in my body is but in into it.

I can't believe how damn fast this year flew by (cliche but true, OK!?)

I sat on my couch ALL DAY LONG yesterday, binge watched Riverdale with Austin (SO into it we finished season 1 in two days!) and I didn't even change my clothes or shower until 5 PM just so I could look somewhat socially acceptable to go pick up my Thai food & thank god I did because that place was PACKED.

ANYWHO. 2018 is going to be a good one, I can feel it deep in my bones!

I'm feeling rebelious today and doing a Monday Muses for y'all on a Friday, seems this past Monday was Christmas and I was checked out from my social media! I was just browsing my favorite sites and there was so much good NEW that here I am, now on a Friday sharing them with y'all! 

Also, how is this New Years weekend? That saying of the older you get 🙈 the faster the years so by is so true! Granted this was one of the busiest years we've had thus far, it was one of the greater years! I have so much drive for what I want to happen this year and I am so proud of myself for pursuing something I've wanted to pursue for so long!

Monday Muses are back! The last two weeks came to y'all in my Gift Guide form! For Him, Under $100 & My Holiday Wishlist! But this week- since those are all complete we're back to my top 10 picks of new arrivals I'm loving & needing this week!

With the holidays coming up we're all still guilty of buying ourselves things we want! From Holiday Parties we're attending to just needing something new to wear for the actual holidays themselves, I am hands down guilty of it! Austin looked over at me yesterday as I sat on the couch with my wallet & computer asking what in the world I was doing with Christmas coming so soon (& me still not telling him what I want!) ordering stuff for myself!? "Well you see here..." I told him "I want to wear this here sweater next weekend or next week! Not in a month from now after Christmas.. therefore, I purchasing it now! Ha, sorry babe!" I am as impatient as it gets and hate even waiting for the "standard free delivery" 5-8 business days? Way too long! Express that shit! Hence one of the reasons I love Amazon & Shopbop since my Amazon Prime works for both! I am ALLLL about next or two day shipping! I want my stuff & I want it now. (I sound way snobby right now... but I'm not, promise!)

NOVEMBER 13 2017

Played hooky from all my responsibilities today and drove down to Orange County to visit my best friend and my sister who both live down here. I also convinced myself along the way that I need to just move down here so I packed an extra bag and am just going to do it. What do y'all think? Can I convince Austin too? Most likely not but i'll keep dreaming!

All the above (plus a margarita at dinner) is the reason to blame for such a late night Monday Muses, it should essentially be called Tuesday Muses but that doesnt have quite as good of a ring to it, ya know?

Mondays DON'T have to be terrible, but IF yours is- a little online shopping always helps lift my spirits. Every Monday I'll start rounding up my current new favorites for y'all! Approaching fall gives us way too many options since the seasons (In fashion only obviously, because outside is still hot as hell) are flipping and every brand is releasing their new fall styles!

Spring & summer will always have my heart as far as seasons go, but I always find myself getting way more excited over fall clothes- and splurging on them, too (oops!) However, I'll try to keep my Monday Muse's to my top 10 faves at an affordable price mark.
